ZenvaLink Technologies Limited (“ZenvaLink”, “we”, “our” or “us”), of Lagos, Nigeria, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, how we protect it, and the rights you have over it under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).

We are the data controller for the personal information described here.

We collect only what we need to reply to you and to keep this website secure:

  • Project & business informationThe project type and details you describe to us, and anything you send when you email us directly.
  • Technical informationOur web server records each request's IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and referring page, for security.
  • No cookies or trackingThis website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Reply to your enquiry and questions
  • Discuss your project and prepare a proposal
  • Communicate with you about work we agree to do
  • Keep the website secure and prevent abuse
  • Comply with our legal obligations
  • Improve how we respond to enquiries

Our lawful bases under the NDPA are your consent when you choose to contact us, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, our legitimate interest in running a secure website, and legal obligation. We do not use your information for marketing without your consent, and we make no automated decisions about you.

4. Cookies & Tracking

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking. Our fonts and our map are served from our own server, so visiting a page does not send your information to a third party. If this ever changes, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • With service providers who help us operate — our website hosting provider and our email provider — under contracts that require them to protect it
  • When required by law, or to protect our legal rights
  • In connection with a business transfer, merger or acquisition, with prior notice to you

Some of these providers may process information outside Nigeria. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards the NDPA provides for cross-border transfers.

6. Data Security

Every connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS). Enquiries are sent over an encrypted connection to our company mailbox and are not stored in a database on the web server. Access to our systems and mailbox is restricted to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

7. Your Rights

Under the NDPA you have the right to:

  • Be informed about how your data is used
  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate information corrected
  • Have your information deleted
  • Restrict or object to our processing
  • Receive your information in a portable format
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission

8. Data Retention

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to respond and, if we work together, for the life of our business relationship. If an enquiry does not lead to work, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Web server logs are kept for a short period for security and then deleted. Addresses held in memory to rate-limit the contact form are discarded within 10 minutes.

Our website may link to other sites, such as OpenStreetMap, which provides our map data. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies when you visit them.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Where a change is significant, we will make it clear on this page.
